Kids & Youth Ministry

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV)

Kid's & Youth Ministry

At Centreville Methodist Church, we believe faith should be lived, experienced, and enjoyed at every age. Our Kids & Youth Ministry is a place where children and students, from early childhood through high school, can grow in their relationship with Christ, build meaningful friendships, and discover who God created them to be.

For our youngest children, we create a joyful and nurturing environment where the seeds of faith are planted through engaging lessons, music, and hands-on activities. It’s a place where kids feel known, loved, and excited to come back each week.

For our youth (6th–12th grade), this is a space to connect, ask real questions, and build a faith that’s their own. Through gatherings, discussions, and shared experiences, students are encouraged to explore their beliefs, support one another, and grow into confident, Christ-centered leaders.

We are also deeply committed to creating a safe and trusted environment for every child and student. All teachers and volunteers are carefully selected, background-checked, and trained through Methodist Church MinistrySafe guidelines—so families can feel confident their children are not only protected, but genuinely cared for.

Whether your child is just beginning their faith journey or stepping into young adulthood, there’s a place for them here.

Sunday Morning’s

Nursery

Nursery - Infants to Age 4
Each Sunday at the 8:40 AM & 11:00 AM Worship Services

We know how important it is to feel confident and at peace when leaving your little one in someone else’s care. Our nursery provides a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where your child is cared for with kindness and attention. Through gentle play, simple activities, and lots of smiles, we begin planting the earliest seeds of God’s love, so you can fully engage in worship, knowing your child is in caring hands.

Children’s Church

Children's Church - Pre-K to 8th grade

Each Sunday during the Contemporary Service at 8:40 AM, we offer Children’s Church. The children start in the Contemporary Service for Praise & Worship, then head out to the Double Classroom. Children’s Church at Centreville Methodist uses the Trackers Curriculum to engage kids in a fun, interactive journey through God’s Word, helping them discover who God is and how much He loves them. Through meaningful lessons, activities, and relationships, children grow in faith while learning how to follow Jesus in their everyday lives.
